But we do need to challenge ourselves as to the qualitative aspect of it and how we do that, the measure of that, is how children access and thrive on the experiences that are actually being delivered to them and that they're involved in. And therefore, it's going to have to be assessed around children's evaluation on what it is that enables them to thrive rather than what it is that others have done to them and I think that is going to be the major involvement in children. Not 'what is it we can do for you?' for you, but 'what is it that you've experienced that has benefited you from being part of West Lothian Council, being part of the school context, being part of a community context - what is it?' and 'what is it that has not benefited you?' And I think these... it's at that level that we do need to report.
